Apply to serve as a co-organizer for the Existential Psychology 2027 SPSP Preconference!
Up to 5 individuals will be selected and appointed as members of the ISSEP Conference Committee, responsible for working together to co-organize the Existential Psychology 2027 SPSP Preconference event.
Event: Anticipated theme and dates.
The anticipated theme of the Existential Psychology 2027 SPSP Preconference will be: “Existential Psychology: Awe, Growth, & the Good Life.”
Anticipated to be held in-person (Philadelphia, PA) on Thursday, February 11, 2027, with a possible virtual back-up alternative on Tuesday, February 9, 2027. The Existential Psychology SPSP Preconference event will take place immediately prior to the main in-person SPSP Convention later that same week.

June 10. Submit this Expression of Interest application form (below) by 11:59pm, Eastern USA time.
June 15. Notification of selection as a co-organizer.
Estimated timeline of co-organizer activities, if you are selected to serve.
June 22nd. Event information/sketch due to SPSP.
June-Aug. Recruit and confirm Keynote and Invited Speakers.
June-Dec. Solicit potential sponsors (e.g., publishers, universities, scholarly foundations) to help fund conference awards and the inclusion of diverse students and early career researchers.
Sept-Oct. Submission window opens, call for data blitz and poster presentation abstracts.
Oct-Nov. Review abstracts for data blitz and poster submissions; select presenters; select conference award recipients.
Nov-Dec. Notify and confirm presenters and award recipients.
Nov-Dec. Coordinate the schedule of presentations, draft and finalize preconference program information.
Nov-Jan. Promote the event.
Feb. Host the event.
